I was born in Colombia, S.A. but I have spent most of my life in the land of opportunity, the great United States of America. Since I got here, back in 1976, I have been involved with horses / cattle and of course, farms. After attending Santa fe Community College and the University of Florida, I moved to Miami, Florida where I finished college and started helping a friend of mine with his Jumper Horses. He bought a Paso Fino horse and I also fell in love with the breed. I bought several horses throughout the years and became a Professional Paso Fino Trainer, Manager and Breeder and traveled over the South East showing horses.
I expanded my business in 1997 by brokering other breeds and exporting mostly to South America. Appaloosas and Quarter Horses mostly, but there were times that I would get a request for Miniature horses as well.
During the year 2000, I decided that it was time to move to the Horse Capital....OCALA, Florida. The horses brought me here, but with time one of my customers told me: "You sell a lot of horses...Why don't you sell Real Estate and work with the best company in the business?" Six months later I started selling real estate and stopped training professionally the Paso Horses. I'm grateful to the horse business. I met a lot of good people and I am still doing business with some of the breeders, but now it is all about Real Estate, about the type of farm they need, how many acres, etc, etc.
I started my Real Estate career with RE/MAX Premier and expect to be here for a long time with the help of God, my family and friends.
