The Children's Miracle Network is gearing up for their fifth annual Spring Trail Ride in Ocala, Saturday, April 12, 2008 to benefit Shands Children's Hospitals. The Altoona Trail Riders will lead the 10-mile scenic ride through the rolling Hills of Marion County. The event will be held at the Florida Horse Park, which is next door to hundreds of miles of beautiful Florida Greenway trails.
Participants must bring their own horse and are asked to collect pledges in advance. A minimum $25.00 donation is required to ride. Prizes and lunch will be awarded based on the amount of pledges turned in at the event.
Limited camping and stalls are available
Explore the Florida Greenway, adjacent to the Florida Horse Park. Miles of well-maintained trails make this area a favorite for competitive trail riders.
Prizes, food and fun will round out the day! And best of all, your pledges will go to help sick children in your community.
